Keep up with your Brain-Fats

Fat plays a key role for your Brain functionality, determining mood, behaviour and cognitive functions.

Do you know that in 1996 a scientific study demonstrated breast-fed children had higher IQs than bottle-fed children? This was because the breast milk contains fatty acids critical to brain development, whilst formula milk contains none of these fats. Scientific evidences show low levels of DHA omega 3 in the brain of people suffering from multiple sclerosis as well as in subjects suffering hyperactivity and attention deficit disorders. Similar low levels of omega 3 in the bloodstream has been associated with moderate and severe depression.

Bottom line – feeding with the right choice of fat may correct or improve learning and memory problems, mood disorders, difficult behaviour, autism, stroke, seizures and more…
