Making a healthy and nutritious breakfast early in the morning is something that a lot of us struggle with. Breakfast is such an important part of the day, so this is why, here at Logo 1 we have found a way to make your daily kick-start simple and delicious.

The answer? Smoothies.

Delicious and Nutritious:

This drink is bursting with energy and is perfect for summer. The fruits provide a great amount of Vitamin C and fibre which prevent you feeling fatigue and experiencing muscle aches throughout the day. Incorporating fruits, such as raspberries, blueberries and blackberries, is a great way to tackle bloating and poor digestion. By treating this well in the morning, there will be less discomfort throughout the day.

Hberries landscape 2igh in Omega 3 fatty acids and various antioxidants, chia seeds add nice texture to your smoothie, conferring protection to your cardiovascular system and boosting your immune system.

If you are looking for more sweetness in your smoothie, honey is a great way of achieving this in a natural way. Adding ginger and honey is also a great way of preventing and helping chest infections due to their soothing properties.

To create a creamier and more consistent texture, milk can be added and will also provide a good amount of calcium. Different varieties of milks can be added in case of milk and dairy intolerance.

Including natural yogurt with live cultures can improve the microflora in your gut and hence ameliorate your immune system .

Berry Blast Summer Smoothie:

45g blackberries

45g blueberries

45g raspberries

60ml acai juice

¼ teaspoon of grated fresh ginger

2 teaspoons of chia seeds

250ml flax, soya or dairy milk

1 tablespoon of runny honey

1 tablespoon of natural yogurt.

Simply chop and blitz the ingredients in a blender and voila – a nourishing and tasty smoothie.
